While social media isn’t usually the top of businesses to-do list, it is pretty important! “80% of consumers are more likely to make a purchase from you if they find a credible, up-to-date Facebook Business Page” – Source: Ad Week. That’s pretty high!
In these uncertain times, a business social media profile can act as your digital shop front, so it pays (literally) to make the most of it.
As a social media marketer, I have some tips that may help.
Don’t stop: Post regularly; even if it’s just once per week. This keeps your profile up to date and reinforces to new and existing customers that you’re operating. If you can’t operate during lockdowns, you can keep customers informed and let them know when you’re up and running again.
Proof read: This seems like a no-brainer, but simple spelling errors could cost you potential clients or customers.
Insights: Get familiar with your Insights tab. This shows the demographic of your followers and when they’re online.
Plan ahead: Set aside an hour a month to plan and schedule posts in advance.
Social media can be a great tool to keep customers up to date with products and services and showcase yourself to potential clients.
