1. Print Standards and Colour Disclaimer
Locals Magazine endeavours to prepare all advertisements, vouchers, and editorial content for printing to high industry standards. However, we do not guarantee that colours displayed on your computer monitor or personal printer will exactly match the final printed material, due to the nature of the CMYK printing process.

2. Payment and Bookings
All bookings and payments are made via our online booking system. A tax receipt is automatically emailed at the time of purchase. No bookings will be accepted via direct contact, email, or phone unless previously arranged and confirmed in writing by Locals Magazine.

3. Space Availability
If your booked advertisement space is unavailable due to layout or space restrictions, we will contact you by email to offer alternatives, including relocating your advert, transferring your booking to a future edition, or issuing a full refund. If the alternative option results in a price difference, you will be refunded or invoiced for the adjustment.

4. Cancellations and Fees
If you cancel a booking within fourteen (14) days prior to the publication deadline, a cancellation fee of 25% of the booking value may apply. Refunds for cancellations made outside this period will be issued less any administrative fees incurred.

5. Consent to Communications
By booking with Locals Magazine, you consent to your contact information being stored in our database and agree to receive communications (including marketing materials) from Locals Magazine and associated businesses under Canterbury Proud Limited. You may unsubscribe at any time.

6. QR Codes
If your advertisement requires a QR code, Locals Magazine can generate and supply a secure, valid QR code linked to your chosen webpage. It is your responsibility to verify the target link supplied.

7. Proofing
When viewing a PDF proof (if supplied), it is essential to view it at 100% magnification to accurately assess the final printed size and appearance. Variations may occur if viewed at different magnifications or on different screens.

8. Vouchers and Offers
For voucher advertisements, the information you submit through our booking form (including text and uploaded logo) will be used exactly as provided. Vouchers will be edited for single-colour printing and standard formatting.
No separate proof will be supplied for vouchers unless otherwise agreed.
If amendments are needed after submission, you must email us clearly stating the region, edition month, changes required, and your contact details. Changes must be requested no later than seven (7) days before print deadlines.

9. Supplied Content and Editorial Edits
Content (stories, editorial pieces, adverts, or promotions) submitted by contributors may be edited for clarity, grammar, spelling, readability, and to meet space or style requirements without prior consultation. Locals Magazine reserves the right to refuse, amend, or withdraw any content deemed inappropriate, misleading, offensive, or non-compliant with our standards or legal requirements.

10. Responsibility for Supplied Material
All content, images, logos, and information supplied by advertisers or contributors must be owned by or licensed to them for publication use. Locals Magazine accepts no responsibility for copyright infringements arising from material supplied to us.

11. Errors and Omissions
Every effort is made to avoid errors; however, Locals Magazine accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from errors, omissions, or late publication. It is the advertiser's responsibility to review supplied proofs (if applicable) and ensure information is accurate before publication.

12. Publication Dates and Distribution
While Locals Magazine will make every effort to adhere to scheduled publication and distribution dates, these are subject to change without notice due to operational or external factors. No compensation will be provided for slight delays.
